My aunt Tilly was the youngest of the Roedde children. Grandfather named his first sailboat "Tilly" after her. Tilly lived at home when my sister Kay and I came to live there. She loved the Roedde house, and described it as "rambling with all kinds of rooms," and thought that it was "the quaintest house in town." She married twice, and had one daughter.
