Still Life

A still life picture is one which is painted or drawn by copying something in real life. The students and Sisters at St. Ann's Academy enjoyed creating pictures of nature, which they copied from their surroundings.

Geometric Designs

The use of geometric shapes and bright colors was a popular style of design in art classes. Often these types of designs were also used in creating borders around things.
