to 1919 in the 105th Bn. (Canadian Expeditionary Force).
His service included Canada, the United Kingdom and France. He was
attached to the 26th Battery. |

PTE. AUGUSTIN ARSENAULT |
Pte. Augustin Arsenault, son of Joseph (Balthide) Arsenault and Marie-Anne Gallant,
enlisted with the Canadian Expeditionary Force on March 18, 1916.
After his training in Valcartier (Québec) and Halifax (ICS.), he went overseas, serving
in England and in France in the 26th Bn. Although wounded by shrapnel, he
returned to action.
He received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
He was discharged on July 19, 1919.

Arsène (Antoine) Arsenault and Marianne Gallant, served in World War I in the Royal
Canadian Regiment.
He was killed in action at the battle of Cambrai, France, September 30,
1918, at the age of 22. |

1917-1918. Wounded while training, he spent the remaining years of the War in a hospital
and was discharged in 1918. |
