After his basic training in Halifax, N.S., he served on convoy duty for
two years. He was hospitalized in England with spine injuries and died in England in June,
1918. |

Bn. in the First World War. He was gassed and wounded at the battle of Ypres, and on June
13, 1919, he died as a result of these war wounds. He was 31 years old. |
