Access to Information and Privacy
The Access to Information Act gives Canadian citizens and persons present in Canada the right to access information in federal government records. The Privacy Act provides citizens with the right to access personal information about themselves held by the government and the protection of that information against unauthorized use and disclosure.

Please find enclosed the summaries of the Access to Information requests completed by Public Works and Government Services Canada. The lists are provided in chronological order, by year and month, and by request number. The lists may not be all-inclusive.Footnote 1
While the summaries are available in both official languages, the responsive records are only available in the language in which they were originally created, and in the form that they were released under the Access to Information Act.
