Anarchist Feminism

AnarchaFeminism

Surfers Against Sexism: Illustration by Juliet Breese
www.geocities.com/Paris/2159/anrfem.html

"I'm writing from Ireland, which is still a very Catholic country. Happily the church's power is bit by bit being eroded. We've been engaged in a very long and complicated struggle for abortion rights."

Here you'll find a selection of articles and talks on anarchist feminism, including anarchist theory of women's oppression, discussion of the work of Emma Goldman, and many Spanish women anarchists

Anarchist Feminist Mailing List

MujeresLibres

"Mujeres Libres means 'Free Women' in Spanish. This was the name given, in 1936, to an organisation of women anarchists who fought in the Spanish Revolution. These anarchists hoped their organisation would provide support to women, both in fighting for an anarchist revolution and in opposing women's oppression. It is to honour the work that they did and the inspiration that they provide that we name our list MujeresLibres.

This is a list for anarchist women. It is a space for us to meet, exchange information, and learn about each other and each other's struggles."
