BCK2SKOL
"BCK2SKOL presents a beginner's course in the Net and its various tools, targeted toward librarians and other information professionals. Lessons...cover basic Internet tools including telnet, ftp, archie, gopher, veronica, and the world wide web. In addition, the class provides pointers to librarians on researching the Net in several academic subject areas." GRIF
The "Guide de ressources Internet francophone" is a French Internet guide made up of a multitude of resources to help people with the Internet. There are two sections: a general access section, and a section reserved for members of the three partner programs (LibraryNet, VolNet, and the Community Access Program). Member users have access to online IT training.
Learn the Net [multilingual]
This site offers content in English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian. Excellent coverage of the basics of how to use the Internet (email, search engines, etc.) aimed at a general audience. Includes some more advanced topics as well (multimedia, web publishing).
InFoPeople
The InFoPeople (Internet For People) Project provides points of direct public access to the Internet in public libraries throughout the state of California. This site provides training resources to help individuals and libraries make the best use of the Internet.
