Bishop's Cove

A small fishing community located in Conception Bay between Spaniard's Bay and Upper Island Cove. Residents commute to St.John's or other nearby communities for work. Bishop's Cove has it's own Anglican Church, and children attend school (K-9) at St.Peter's in Upper Island Cove .

In the past most residents were involved in the local fishery and some travelled to Labrador seasonally. Many residents also were employed as loggers in the nearby settlement known today as Tilton.
