Population: 19 (1996)
34 (1986)

Located south of Bay de Verde, along the Conception Bay North Shore is the fishing community of Low Point.

Early families at Low Point were the Bolands, Briens, Hanrahans, Hearns, Hennessys, McNamaras, Powers, and Whites. Entirely Roman Catholic, many settlers came direct from Ireland.

Low Point residents have continued to rely on nearby centres such as Bay de Verde and Old Perlican for supplies and services.
