How do I become a C.E.D.?

Technician Level Certification

If you want to become a C.E.D., you should submit an application form. That way, the Certification Manager can work with you to talk about schools in your region, and help you pick the right courses.

Once you have finished the two years of schooling, you will gain technician level C.E.D. if you have met all the course requirements.  CANDO can then help you find a job as an EDO or someone else working in Aboriginal economic development. You can then start working toward professional level designation.

If you have prior experience working in Aboriginal economic development, you might want to choose the Prior Learning Assessment Path.
