An Introduction to Family Fun

In the House Treasures curriculum strand, students learn to really "see" an object -- to study it, pushing beyond what they think they see, to accurately describe it in both words and pictures. Family Fun has a similar approach -- to push beyond what we already know and develop a more accurate picture of our greater family as well as a better understanding of the lives, dreams, and experiences of its members.

To find out more about the lives of family members to learn vocabulary and techniques for doing an accurate family tree to develop good questioning skills for interviewing and letter writing to build a sense of the class as community or family
