Pte. Albin Joseph Arsenault
PTE. ALBIN JOSEPH ARSENAULT


Pte. Albin Joseph Arsenault, son of André and Léonide Arsenault, enlisted in the Canadian Army (Regular) on August 28, 1951 and served as a craftsman in Canada and in the Far East with No.42 Canadian Infantry Workshop, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

He embarked for the Far East on March 6, 1954 and returned to Canada on February 1, 1955. He was killed on July 3, 1955 as the result of a motor vehicle accident while serving at Saint John, N.B.

He received the United Nations Medal (Korea).

Pte. Antonin Arsenault (Thompson), adopted son of Alcide A. Arsenault and Marie Gallant, served in the Army and Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada and in Korea. He was discharged on medical grounds (malaria).

He received the United Nations Medal (Korea).

Pte. Emile Arsenault
PTE. EMILE ARSENAULT

Pte. Emile Arsenault, son of André and Léonide Arsenault, enlisted in the Canadian Army in August, 1950.

He served with the Royal 22nd Regiment during the Korean Conflict and was discharged in November, 1952.


Pte. Ernest J. Bernard, son of Antonin Bernard and Emma Cormier, enlisted in the army on May 6, 1950.

He served with the R.C.D. and Stradcona Horse (R.C.E.M.E.) in Korea, 1953 for 11 months; Egypt, 1957 for 11 months.

He received the United Nations and the Korea Medals.

He received his discharge from the service on May 6, 1960.

Paratrooper Alfred Cormier
PARATROOPER ALFRED CORMIER

Paratrooper Alfred Cormier, son of Bélonie Cormier and Irène Gallant, enlisted in the Royal 22nd Regiment on July 29, 1952.

He served in Korea as a paratrooper in the Infantry from March 26, 1953 to April 14, 1954.

He was discharged on March 18, 1956.

Paratrooper Sylvère Cormier, son of Bélonie Cormier and Irène Gallant, enlisted in the Royal 22nd Regiment (2 B.N.) on September 29, 1950. He served as paratrooper instructor on motorcycles and tanks.

He was discharged on December 3, 1953.
