Pte. James Aeneas MacNeill, son of Roderick MacNeill and Agnes
Gillis, enlisted in the First War on October 18, 1915 at the age of 20.
He served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force with the 105th
Bn., the 26th and 78th Bn. in France, where he was wounded at the
front lines by an exploding grenade.
He was discharged in Charlottetown on March 1, 1919. |
He re-enlisted in
the Veterans Guard of Canada No.6A Coy on October 28, 1940 where he served three years
guarding the prisoners of war and escorting the P.O.W.'s from the ships in Halifax to the
internment camp in Arvida, Qué.
He was discharged on August 6, 1943 on medical grounds, arising from World
War I wounds. |

Pte. Stephen Roderick MacNeill, son of Roderick MacNeill and Agnes Gillis, enlisted in the
First War on September 23, 1916.
He served in England and in France with the 105th Bn. and 2nd
Bn. Machine Gun Corps.
He was discharged on May 25, 1919. He re-enlisted in the Veterans Guard of
Canada on October 15, 1940 and served until his discharge on July 26, 1945. |

Pte. Mark McNally, son of James McNally and Adelaide Harrington, served in the
First World War from April 23, 1918 to July, 1919, attached to the 17th
Canadian Reserve. |

Pte.
A. S. Murray, son of Rev. Robert and Isabelle Murray and former
minister of the United Church in Wellington, went overseas in 1918 with the 8th
Siège Battery and served for 15 months at the front. He was then transferred to the Royal
Air Force, spending four months training in England.
Rev. A. S. Murray is a chartered member of the Wellington Royal Canadian
Legion. |

Pte. Jack Percival, son of John Percival and Mary Bradley enlisted in the First
World War in Charlottetown.
He served overseas in England and in France with the 105th Bn.
and was attached to the 2nd Siege Battery for three years.
One of his duties included driving mules and ammunition wagons. |

Cpl. Sylvère Perry, son of Philibert and Catherine Poirier, enlisted
in World War I on March 22, 1916.
He served in Canada, England and France, in the 105th
batallion.
He received his discharge on April 27, 1919. He enlisted in the Veterans
Guard of Canada, serving from February 1, 1941 to August 7, 1945. |

He received the British War Medal, the 1914-1918 War Medal, the 1939-1945 Star and the
Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. |
