Pte Donat
Blacquière, son of Joseph Blacquière and Marie Arsenault, served overseas during the
1914-1918 war. He served with the Canadian Mounted Rifles and was wounded in the leg in
France.
In 1942, he enlisted in the Veterans Guard of Canada. |

Peter Caissie, son of Octave Caissie and Henriette Barriault,
enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 25, 1918.
He served at Camp Devens Mass., U.S.A. in 20 Company 151 Depot Brigade and
42nd Infantry U.S.A.
He was discharged on May 27, 1919. |

PTE. DONALD CLARK |
Pte. Donald Clark, son of Dobson Clark and Marguerite Murray, enlisted in the army in
January 1917.
He served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in Canada, England and
France. He took part in trench warfare in two important battles in France in 1918. He
received the British War and Victory Medals.
He was discharged on May 15, 1919. |

William Earl Clark, son of Dobson Clark and Marguerite Murray, enlisted on December 26,
1916 and served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force with the 26th Bn. in
Canada, Britain and France.
He received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
He was discharged on May 17, 1919. |

He was discharged on April 18, 1919. |

Pte. Wilfred Joseph Cormier, son of Joseph Cormier and Dina Babineau, served
in the last two wars - 1914-18 and 1939-45. In the last war he was discharged in the late
1940's. |

Pte. Ambrose Cosgrove, son of John T. Cosgrove and Anastasia White, served in the
1914-1918 war and died in England as the result of gas warfare. |

Gerald B. Darby, son of Harry Darby and Bessie Morrison, served in the
First World War and was killed in action at the age of 21, at Arras, France, on September
11, 1918.
He is buried in Dury Mill near Arras. |
