Pte. Albénie DesRoches
PTE. ALBÉNIE DESROCHES

Pte. Albénie DesRoches, son of Mathias DesRoches and Adélina Gallant, served on American submarines during World War I.

Pte. Félix DesRoches, son of Mathias DesRoches and Adelina Gallant, served in the First War with 1st Depot Bn. N.B. Regiment in England and in France; he served with the 44th Bn.

He was discharged on June 6, 1918.

Pte. Abel Gallant
PTE. ABEL GALLANT

Pte. Abel Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Léon Gallant, enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during World War I.

He served in the 165th Bn.

Pte. Joseph Anicet Gallant, son of Anicet and Béatrice Gallant, enlisted in the 105th Bn. during World War I and was killed in action in France on October 10, 1918 at the age of 20.

Pte. Alphée Gallant
PTE. ALPHÉE GALLANT

Pte. Alphée Gallant, son of John S. and Elizabeth Gallant, served in World War I in the U.S. army and was transferred to the Canadian army.

He died in April 1929 in Oldtown, Me. and is buried in Mont-Carmel cemetery.

Pte. Anthony Gallant, son of Alexis Gallant and Kate MacDonald, enlisted in 1916 and served with the 14th Montreal Regiment in Canada, the United Kingdom and in France. He was wounded in France and discharged on January 11, 1918.

In the Second World War, he enlisted in the Veterans Guard of Canada.

Pte. Antoine Prospère Gallant
PTE. ANTOINE PROSPERE GALLANT

Pte. Antoine Prospère Gallant, son of Prospère and Sophie Gallant, enlisted in 1915 in the First War and served for three years with the 14th Bn. He was killed in action in France on August 9, 1918 at the age of 23.

Pte. Anthony Gallant, son of Jean Gallant and Céline Poirier, served in the two World Wars.

In the First War, he was with the Canadian Infantry and in the Second War, he was with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps.

Sgt. Arsène P. Gallant
SGT. ARSENE P. GALLANT

Sgt. Arsène P. Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Pierre Gallant, served in the 165th Bn. Canadian Expeditionary Force during World War I.

Pte. Arsène Gallant, son of Stanislaus and Marguerite Gallant, served with the 105th Bn. during the First War.

He was killed at Vimy Ridge in France.
