Tpr. Tilmon Andy Gallant
TPR. TILMON ANDY GALLANT

Tpr. Tilmon Andy Gallant, son of Antoine Gallant and Émilienne Arsenault, enlisted in the army on April 16, 1941.

He served with the 6th N.B. Hussars in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

He was discharged in March, 1946.

Cpl. Joseph Tilmon Gallant, son of Cyrus P. Gallant and Edna Arsenault, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on October 21, 1941.

He served in Canada and was discharged on medical grounds on August 22, 1945.

Pte. Toussaint Gallant
PTE. TOUSSAINT GALLANT

Pte. Toussaint Gallant, son of Mr. and Mrs. François (Jos Thadée) Gallant, served overseas during the Second World War.

The troopship on which he was a passenger was torpedoed on its way overseas and private Gallant was thrown overboard and endured many a hardship before being rescued.


Pte. Ulric Gallant, son of Joseph Octave Gallant and Estelle Gaudet, enlisted in the army on June 5, 1941.

He served in Canada and in Continental Europe with the Canadian Army.

He was discharged on November 9, 1945. Medals include: 1939-1945 Star, Volunteer Medal, Defence Medal and 1939-1945 Medal.

Pte. Willie Gallant (Cahill)
PTE. WILLIE GALLANT (CAHILL)

Pte. Willie Gallant (Cahill), adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Philibert Gallant, joined the army at an early age, and was posted overseas (England, France).

After his discharge from the service, he joined the R.C.A.F. and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Pte. William Joseph Gallant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Marc Gallant, served in the army from October 21, 1942 to May 9, 1946.

Pte. Alexander Gaudet
PTE. ALEXANDER GAUDET

Pte. Alexander Gaudet, son of John Peter Gaudet and Lydia Larkin, served in Canada during the Second World War as a Service police.

Sm. Alden Gaudet, son of John Peter Gaudet and Lydia Larkin, served in Newfoundland in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War.

PTE. ALTON GAUDET


Pte. Alton Gaudet, son of Stanley Gaudet and Jacqueline Aucoin, enlisted in the Canadian Army in September, 1939.

He served in Canada with the P.E.I. Highlanders and the Canadian Provost Corps.

He embarked for overseas in 1944, attached to the Northern Algonquin Regiment.

Taken prisoner in Germany in 1944, he was released in early May, 1945.

He was discharged in November, 1945.


Pte. Arthur Gaudet, son of Stanley Gaudet and Jacqueline Aucoin, enlisted in the Canadian Army in the fall of 1942.

He proceeded overseas in February, 1943 and saw action in Holland in 1944 where he was twice wounded, the second time fatally.

He is buried in a Canadian Cemetery at Groesbeek, near Nijmegen, Holland.
