Steward Céofride Gaudet
STEWARD CÉOFRIDE GAUDET


Steward Céofride Gaudet, son of Clovis Gaudet and Jacqueline Arsenault, enlisted in the navy on November 24, 1941.

He served with the Royal Canadian Naval Voluntary Reserve on the H.M.C.S. Minesweeper Malpeque in Halifax, N.S. and St. John's, Newfoundland. He also served on the H.M.C.S. Nene on the Murmansk Run, Russia.

He was discharged on October 30, 1945.

Pte. Clifford Gaudet, son of Stanley Gaudet and Jacqueline Aucoin, enlisted in the Canadian Army in September, 1939.

He served in Canada with the P.E.I. Highlanders, the Canadian Provost Corps and the Royal Canadian Signal Corps.

He was discharged in July, 1945.

Airman Clifford Gaudet
AIRMAN CLIFFORD GAUDET

Airman Clifford Gaudet, son of Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Gaudet, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on December 12, 1942.

He served as R.C.A.F. Service Police in Swift Current, Sask.; Lethbridge, Alta; Moncton, N.B.; Labrador and Halifax.

He was discharged on February 26, 1946.

Pte. Joseph Cyrus Gaudet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abdon Gaudet, enlisted in the army on June 5, 1941.

He served with the 86th Brigade, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps.

After three months' training in Canada, he served in the United Kingdom for two years, nine months.

PTE. JOSEPH CYRUS GAUDET

He was then sent to France right after D-Day and went through Belgium, Holland and Germany. When the war ended, he was in Oldenburg, Germany.

He was discharged on August 30, 1946. Medals: Defense, 1939-1945 War Medal, France/Germany Star, C.V.S.M.


Pte. John Desmond Gaudet
PTE. DESMOND GAUDET

Pte. John Desmond Gaudet, son of John Peter Gaudet and Lydia Larkin enlisted in the Canadian army on September 4, 1939 and served with the 2nd Medium Battery of the 1st Cdn. Rgt. for 5 years overseas in Italy and in continental Europe.


Pte. Edmond Gaudet, son of Clovis Gaudet and Jacqueline Arsenault, enlisted in the army on November 25, 1939.

He served with the Three Rivers Regiment, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Central Mediterranean Area and Continental Europe.

PTE. EDMOND GAUDET

He received the following medals: 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France/Germany Star and the Canadian Voluntary Service Medal.

He was discharged on November 6, 1945.


Tpr. Edward Joseph Gaudet
TPR. EDWARD JOSEPH GAUDET


Tpr. Edward Joseph Gaudet, son of Edmond and Délima Gaudet, enlisted in the army in January, 1940.

He served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment in the armoured tank corps.

After his training in Canada, he embarked for overseas in December, 1940.

He took part in the Italian campaign and was killed in action on March 23, 1944.


Warrant-officer (1st class) Elmer R. Gaudet, son of Wilfred and Fabiola Gaudet, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on October 1, 1939.

He served with the Marine section of the R.C.A.F. with postings in Trenton, Ontario, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He served as marine engineer with Air-Sea Rescue out of Halifax and on the Halifax-Iceland patrol.

In 1951, he was transferred to engineering duties at Senneterre, Québec.

He died while still in the service, in 1958 at Barrie, Ontario. At the time of his death, he was W.O.I.

FL./SGT. J. T. GORDON GAUDET


Fl./Sgt. J. T. Gordon Gaudet, son of Arsène Gaudet and Margaret Davis, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on May 21, 1943.

He did his training in Lachine, Qué.; Toronto, Ont.; and Calgary, Alta. He received his Wireless Air Gunners' wings at Mountain View, Alberta in July, 1944.

He arrived overseas on September 4, 1944 and was stationed in England and Northern Ireland.

He was discharged in February, 1946.

Pte. John Raymond Gaudet, son of Stanley Gaudet and Jacqueline Aucoin, enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1942.

He served with the Canadian Provost Corps in Canada and Newfoundland.

He was discharged in 1947.
