Gnr. Henry Joseph Arsenault, son of Phillip M. and Marguerite Arsenault, enlisted in the
Army in Fredericton, N.B. (No. 7 District Depot) on September 23, 1941.
He served in Canada, the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean Area and Continental
Europe. He was awarded the following medals: 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France/Germany
Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
He was discharged on January 22, 1946 |

Pte. Herman J. Arsenault, foster son of James
Luke and Célina LeBlanc, enlisted in the army on December 3, 1942.
He served in Canada in the Royal Canadian Engineers until his discharge on
February 25, 1946. |

Airman Henry Arsenault, son of Emile-J.
Arsenault and Elizabeth Poirier, joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 and served in
Canada until his discharge in 1945. |

Pte. Jean Marc Arsenault, son of André Marc Arsenault and Philomène Gallant, enlisted
with the P.E.I. Highlanders on July 15, 1940 and was posted in Halifax for 8 months and
Newfoundland for 18 months.
He served 3 years with the Vandoos and was in England for 6 months. He
served 2 years in the Italian Campaign, where he was wounded May 17, 1944.
At the battle for Ortona, 200 soldiers of his unit were pinned down for 48
hours before reinforcements came; only 12 men survived.
He received the 5 military medals. |

Pte. Joseph E. Arsenault, son of Joseph
Arsenault and Céline Gallant, joined the Prince Edward Island Highlanders June 5, 1940
and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders in Canada, Newfoundland, England, Italy,
France, Germany and Holland.
He was discharged from active service on March 18, 1946. He then joined
the Air Force, being based in Chatham, N.B.; Lachine, P.Q.; Toronto, Ont.; Resolute Bay,
N.W.T. and Ottawa, Ont. |

Pte. Joseph Arsenault, son of André and
Eléonide Arsenault, joined the Army on July 11, 1940 and did his basic and advanced
training until 1943. From July 1943 to June 1944, he was an orderly in a hospital in
England. In June 1944, he was transferred to No. 7 F.D.S. in England and then to
Continental Europe until his discharge on May 30, 1946. |
