Contracts awarded

On March 23, 2004, the government announced a new policy on the mandatory publication of contracts over $10,000.

This Web site provides information on contracts issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages. Every three months we will be reporting on the contracts exceeding $10,000, including GST or HST, that were awarded or amended by the Office of the Commissioner in the previous three months.

Beginning on October 31, 2004, and every three months thereafter, this Web site will be updated to include information on these contracts.

The rules and principles governing government contracts are outlined in the Treasury Board Contracting PolicyGovernment site. The objective of government procurement contracting is to acquire goods and services, including construction services, in a manner that enhances access, strengthens competition and guarantees the best value for Canada.
