LANCE CORPORAL EMILE GALLANT

Lance Corporal Emile Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Gallant, enlisted in the 105th Bn. on March 9, 1916 and served in England and in France with the 25th Bn.

He was discharged on May 25, 1919.

Pte. Emmanuel J. Gallant, son of Joseph B. and Elizabeth Gallant, served in the 26th Canadian Bn. and was killed in action August 28, 1918.

PTE. EMMANUEL JOSEPH GALLANT

Pte. Emmanuel Joseph Gallant, son of Joseph Timothy and Mary Rose Gallant, enlisted in the First War on March 20, 1918.

He served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the Royal Canadian Regiment in France under Lft. J. E. Ritchie.

He was discharged on March 13, 1919.

Pte. Emmanuel Gallant, son of Jean Pierre and Eulalie Gallant, served in World War I from 1914 to November, 1918.

He served in the 6th Canadian Garrison Regiment, (Canadian Expeditionary Force) in Canada, Britain and Germany.

PTE. ERNEST GALLANT

Pte. Ernest Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Jean Pierre Gallant, served in the First World War (Army) in Canada and Great Britain, where he died.

Pte. Gilbert Gallant, son of Joseph (Pacifique) Gallant and Madeleine Arsenault, served in the American Army during World War I.

PTE. JEAN IRÉNÉ GALLANT


Pte. Jean Iréné Gallant, son of Nicéphore Gallant and Judith Arsenault, enlisted in the First War in Moncton, N.B. in May, 1916.

He served in the 165th Infantry in Valcartier, Qué., and Saint John, N.B.

He embarked for overseas early in the spring of 1917, serving in England and in France (June or July, 1917) in a labour and forestry unit.

He was discharged in May, 1919.

He was in the Veterans Guard of Canada from 1941 to 1942.

He was made Honorary President of Royal Canadian Legion: Branch No.1 in Charlottetown.


Pte. John Glorice Gallant, son of Stanislaus and Marie Gallant, enlisted in the First War on May 16, 1916.

He served in Canada, England and France with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the 63rd and 24th Bn.

He was wounded on May 3, 1917 and later returned to action.

He was discharged on January 15, 1919.

Pte. John W. Gallant, son of Ferdinand and Marie Gallant, enlisted in the First War on June 25, 1918.

He served with the 1st Depot Bty. N.S.R. and the 85th Bn. in France.

He was discharged on June 15, 1919.

Pte. Joseph Gallant, son of Jean-Pierre and Eulahe Gallant, served in the First War in Canada only, from 1916 to 1919.

He was attached to the 6th Canadian Garrison Regiment with the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
