Pte. Joseph J. Gallant, son of Joseph and Marie-Rose Gallant, enlisted in the First War on July 16, 1918 in 1st Depot Bn. C/SR in Charlottetown.

He served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the 17th Reserve Bn. C/SR in the United Kingdom.

He was discharged on July 13, 1919.

Pte. Joseph J. Gallant, son of Jacques Gallant and Emilienne Arsenault, enlisted in the First War on May 28, 1918.

He served with the Royal Canadian Regiment in the front lines, in France.

He was discharged on March 15, 1919.

Pte. Joseph Gallant, son of Alexis Gallant and Kate MacDonald, served in both World Wars.

In World War I, he served in the Canadian Forestry Corps in England and in France.

In World War II, he served in the Veterans Guard of Canada.

Pte. Joseph Alfred Gallant, son of Sylvain and Marie Anne Gallant, enlisted in the 105th Bn. March 18, 1916 and served with the 26th and 28th Bn. in the United Kingdom and in France. He was wounded in France and was hospitalized for 9 months. He was discharged July 10, 1919.

Pte. Joseph P. Gallant
PTE. JOSEPH P. GALLANT

Pte. Joseph P. Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Philias Gallant, enlisted in the American Army on March 27th, 1918 at Providence, R.I.

He served with the American Expeditionary Force as telegraph lineman (Supply Co. 302nd Infantry).

He was discharged at Camp Upton, N.Y. on August 29th, 1919.


Pte. Lévis Gallant, son of Charles (Laurent) Gallant and Sophie Poirier, enlisted in the Canadian Army on March 21, 1918.

He served in Canada, Great Britain and France with the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was discharged on March 15, 1919.

He enlisted in the Veterans Guard of Canada 6th Coy in 1941 with postings in Charlottetown, Fredericton, N.B.; St. Stephen, N.B. and Valcartier, Qué.

He was discharged on November 2, 1944.

Pte. Pacifique Gallant
PTE. PACIFIQUE GALLANT


Pte. Pacifique Gallant, son of Joseph Gallant and Madeleine Arsenault, enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force on February 18, 1918 and served with the 1st D.B.N.S. Regiment and the Royal Canadian Regiment in Canada, England and France.

Wounded at Ripon on February 12, 1919, he was hospitalized in England.

He received the British War and Victory medals and was discharged on February 2, 1920.

In the Second World War, he served with the Veterans Guard of Canada.

Pte. Philibert Gallant, son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph (Thadée) Gallant, served overseas for four years in the 105th Batallion during World War I.

Sapper Philip Gallant
SAPPER PHILIP GALLANT

Sapper Philip Gallant, son of Sylvain Gallant and Marie Anne Arsenault, enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force on March 22, 1916 and served in Canada, Britain and in France. He was discharged June 29, 1919.

In the 1939-1945 war, he enlisted October 15, 1940, served in the Canadian Army (Active) and was discharged August 7, 1945.

Pte. Stanley Gallant, son of Marc and Marie Gallant, served in World War I with the 105th Bn. and the Royal Canadian Regiment in France.
