Pte. Henri J. Caissie, son of Louis and
Obéline Caissie, joined the army on June 24, 1940 and served with the North Nova Scotia
Highlanders in Canada and overseas. He returned to Canada for a medical discharge on
July 2, 1942. |

Gnr. Benjamin K. Cameron,
son of Mr. & Mrs. David Cameron, enlisted in the Canadian Army in February, 1941.
He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery, with military postings at
Charlottetown, Halifax, Ft. Ogilvie, Chebucto and Ft. Sandwich.
He was discharged in December, 1943. |

David Cameron, enlisted in the service in March, 1942.
He served in Canada, Italy and Holland.

of Joseph Cormier and Roséline Gallant, enlisted in the Canadian Army on August 21, 1941
and served with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in Canada, the United Kingdom, France,
Belgium, Holland and Germany. He was discharged on February 16, 1946. |

PTE. JOSEPH ALFRED CORMIER |
Pte. Joseph Alfred Cormier, son of Bruno and Marianne Cormier, enlisted in the Canadian
Army on June 15, 1942.
After his training in Charlottetown and Halifax, he sailed for England in
1943.
He served in the Black Watch Regiment (2nd Division), taking
part in the Normandy invasion (1944), then proceeded to Holland and Germany. He was twice
wounded in action.
He was discharged on February 6, 1946. |

Pte. Anthony Cormier, son of Benoît Cormier and Délina Arsenault, enlisted in the army
in March, 1942. After his basic training in Charlottetown and his advanced training in
Aldershot, N.S., he trained with the Royal Canadian Artillery in Dartmouth, N.S., then
served l½ years at Sault-Ste.-Marie, Ont. H.A.A. 40th Bty. R.C.A., then served
with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Owen Sound, Ont.; Halifax, N.S.; and Saint
John, N.B.; New Glasgow, N.S.; and in Goose Bay with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps. He
was discharged in April, 1946.

Sgt. Bélonie Cormier, son of Joseph Cormier
and Dina Babineau, served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, attached to the Royal
Canadian Army Service Corps, during the 1939-1945 war.
He served as cook in the military hospitals of Botwood, Newfoundland and
Queen Mary in Montreal. |

Pte. Frank Cormier, son of Emmanuel Cormier and
Rosella Poirier, enlisted in the Carleton York Regiment on September 9, 1939 and was
discharged on medical grounds on October 30, 1939. He re-enlisted in 1940 in
Charlottetown with the Light Horse Infantry and received his medical discharge in 1943. |

army January 17, 1941 and served in Canada only, with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders.
He was discharged in Kemptville, Ont. on August 11, 1943. He received the 1939-1945
War medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. |
