Glen Murray
Glen Murray is situated on the corner of Gosford Road and le Rang 10-11. In 1850, John Murray was the postmaster. Around 1860, a piece of land was given by Thomas Lloyd to the mission of St. Stephen's (see Rectory Hill) to build a rectory for Reverend Vial, who had to travel a lot in order to cover the whole mission of Inverness North. Reverend Vial officiated once a month in the rectory for the people living far from St. Stephen's Church. In 1868, the rectory was destroyed by fire, leaving the reverend without a residence for the following three years.

In 1892, serving a population of about 100 people, there was a post office and a general store at Glen Murray. A protestant school was built in 1850 and remained open until 1930.
