Chapel on the Hill
This church, situated on Craig Road, was built in 1839. It was the first Methodist chapel in Megantic County and was called "New Ireland Station." The building was demolished by a hurricane in 1850 and rebuilt in 1862. Then it was sold and moved in 1979. Today there is a commemorative plaque indicating the place where the church used to be, near the cemetery.
