PIONEER WOMEN OF THE NORTH PEACE

We honour here a few of our pioneer women of the North Peace and in doing so, we pay tribute to all the pioneers- Their courage, determination, perseverance, sense of humour and knowledge carried them through the years of opening up a new land. They possessed the faith and strength to meet the unknown and a willingness to share their skills and help others.

Many of these pioneers are no longer with us. We salute them and the women who, today, are still pioneering as they work towards making better laws and conditions for the underprivileged and handicapped of our country.
